Mail Box

A Mail Box animation and materials, lighting project
that I did a couple of quarters ago.

It was a very big learning experience and I took a lot
good information away from it.

Programs used: Maya, After Effects, Photoshop

11 Sec Club

Lip Syncing with secondary movements to an audio
clip from "Tropic Thunder"

Program used: 3D Studio Max
Pre-rigged characters: LoMax

Fishing Lures

Two Fishing Lures that I made in 3D from looking at references
from Rapala: fishing lures. All textures were made by scratch in Photoshop CS3.

I was going for photo realism that could possible be put into
an ad in a commercial or magazine. The body and lips are made
with nurbs and the hooks and rings are from splines.

Programs used: Maya 2008, Mental Ray, Photoshop CS3

Office Room

I was going for the late afternoon look with the lighting and
a newer office feel with the materials applied. I learned a
great deal about lighting during this project and used
mia_materials for all the textures.

Programs used: Maya 2008, Mental Ray with Final Gather and Global Illumination,
Photoshop CS3

"A Can"

This was a school project about inanimate objects
and to show feelings and movement with such an object.

I choose to do a pop can because of the difficulty
of showing feelings and movement with a cylinder
and I was looking for a challenge.

Programs used: Maya 2008, Mental Ray, After Effects
